I have really enjoyed the series so far so I was excited for this one, but Molly was very frustrating. I didn't like her character at all. She was very "woe is me" and I can't stand that in a main character, especially when it's the female. I get that she has been through a lot (I know her whole story from the previous book), but it got very repetitive. Brayden made his feelings quite obvious, so the whole, "does he or doesn't he?" was annoying. It took her the whole book to think about Brayden and how he has been severely hurt in the past, too. She never considered his feelings and how hard it might be for him to take a chance as well. The difference was that he was willing to try and take a chance whereas she kept making excuses and running away; over and over again. I loved Brayden as a character and loved seeing him with his family and the rest of the gang. Quite frankly, without the secondary characters, I probably would've hated this book more. Despite not liking this book, I am still looking forward to Carter's book and am curious to read his story. This series keeps getting better and better, and Wrapped In Love is a book I couldn't put down! Wrapped in Love is Brayden and Molly's story and I had mixed feelings about these two, but mostly because of Molly. I wasn't sure how I felt about her from previous books in the series, but once I got to know her in her own book, I will say she grew on me and I was happy she finally got her HEA!If you've read the previous stories in this series, you've seen bits and pieces of Molly's story and know only half truths of her back story and are like me, and aren't exactly sure how you feel about her. A single mom with a bad past who has moved back to her home town to work with the Jackson brothers to help them set up the tasting room and event center. There is one problem though.. Molly and Brayden spent one hot night together a few months ago back in New York, and she's trying to strip away her past and be respected for what she's doing for the company, and not for having a relationship with the boss, so she keeps her friendship with Brayden just that a friendship and keeps her work relationship just as him as her boss, even though she's extremely attracted to him. Brayden had his heart broken 10 years ago, and the only one to reignite his heart has been Molly, but she's made it clear that she only wants friendship from him, but he can't seem to let it go. When the opportunity strikes to have her and her son Noah move in with him, when she ends up homeless right before Christmas, he can't pass it up, and having her that close to him is a dream and a curse.Watching Molly and Brayden fight their attraction towards one another is interesting to say the least. Molly is so adverse to relationships it's not funny yet she can't seem to stay away from Brayden, and Brayden doesn't want Molly to be with anyone besides him. He tries to see where Molly is coming from, yet he wants to help her see he can be there for her, be the one she can rely on, and be the person who breaks down her walls and is there for her and Noah. There are so many barriers in the way for these two, and it's a lot of push and pull between them, but in the end it's worth it, but it's a lot of back and forth and a lot of nail biting to get there.Molly really grew on me in this book, even if at times I wanted to scream at her and shake her. She had an amazing man who adored her and her son sitting right there offering her everything, but she was too scared to take the chance at times. I am so glad they went through everything they did, even if at times it was awful, because I have a feeling this is going to be yet another power couple in the Jackson family. And let me say, the epilogue in this book? Tears.. happy, happy tears! I adored it! If you've read this series of stand-alones, or if you're new to the series and are looking for an angsty read, I highly suggest Wrapped in Love by Lexi Ryan, it will keep you on the edge of your seat!
